Originally from San Jose, CA and now based in Los Angeles, Frank has been making music since high school, starting as Knarf in 2006 and adopting the name Frank Panduh in 2013. His debut album as Frank Panduh, Nefelibata, was released on July 10, 2014.

DIY VENUE & Early Career

After his parents’ divorce, Frank moved to Patterson, CA in High school, where he transformed his family home into Panduh Studios, an all-ages DIY music venue. From 2006-2008, he hosted nearly 50 shows, including the annual “Frankenfest” and “HellaPop” festival, with help from Neil Vento. National acts like Math the Band, Iji, and teamAWESOME! played there, establishing Patterson as an unlikely hub for indie and experimental music.

During this time, Frank also played drums in indie rock band The Panduhs, touring with acts like Calvin Johnson (K Records founder) and The Hive Dwellers throughout Northern California. Also having the Opportunity to play with artist like Lisa Prank, telle novella, The Shivas.

Musical Style & Process

Frank Panduh’s music blends drum and bass, IDM, glitch, hyperpop, breakbeat, and experimental electronic textures, with hints of ambient, left-field beats, and psychedelic sounds. His work has been described as “manic hyperpop,” “visceral electronic chaos,” and “genre-fluid” by music critics.

Rooted in electronic music but never limited by genre, Frank crafts all sounds in Ableton Live and creates all 3D artwork / avatars with DAZ Studio. He emphasizes that his music and artwork are 100% human-made — no generative AI is used in his creative process.

Since 2014, Frank Panduh has released eight albums and five EPs, with a new EP “1990 FM” dropping March 6, 2026.

Other Music Projects by Frank Panduh:

Other music projects include. The Panduhs is an indie rock band from Modesto, CA started by Neil Vento and myself in high school. We released our first EP on Halloween in 2012. During that time I had the rad opportunity to play drums and go on the road and play with a lot of cool bands. Like some amazing folks like Calvin Johnson (who also did a cool adlib on our last album). The Shivas, Math The Band, Sour Patch, Dandelion Massacre, The Hive Dwellers, IJI and many other great bands.

Here’s a video of The Panduhs playing in Ashland, OR. We played on a local access TV program called “Southern Oregon Songwriters Circle”. This was a fun experience on the road. Ashland, OR is also a rad city IMO.
