Frank Panduh’s New Album “Void” Drops April 18, 2025

Howdy, keyboard wizard. Ready for something new in your ears? I’m thrilled (and mostly kinda nervous) to finally announce my latest release: the Frank Panduh Void album, is finally coming out April 18th, 2025. It’s my 7th full-length album, with 23 tracks of experimental electronic joyrides weird, glittery, sometimes heavy, sometimes just cheeky. It’ll be available everywhere: Spotify, Bandcamp, Apple Music, Tidal, and all the usual streaming spots.

🎧 What is “Void”?

Void is for the digital loners, the soundtrack-lovers, the hyperpop heads, the synth romantics, and the drum freaks. If you’ve ever fallen in love with the music in a video game, cried to a strange YouTube video from 2007, or gotten lost in a 3AM internet spiral with weirdcore visuals and broken CSS… then you’re already in the right place.

I made this album as an electronic refuge a sonic world you can disappear into when things get too heavy. Like a sci-fi arcade dream. Or a pop-punk DnB anime from the year 3030. Or just… a place where it’s okay to be weird and tired and loud and hopeful all at once.

🌐 Sounds Like…?

If you like artists like Sophie, Flying Lotus, 100 gecs, Aphex Twin, Bladee, or even Daft Punk, you might find something to love in the Void album by Frank Panduh. But honestly, my influences are all over the place from late ’90s Warp Records to weird YouTube videos, Vines, TikToks, Public Access TV to old Modesto indie DIY shows.

This isn’t lyric-forward music, but it’s sonic story-driven in its own way. These are soundtracks for imaginary games, non-existent films, or glitched-out dreams. Think house of leaves but for music.. lol

💿 A Few Track Highlights

  • “Daijoubu” opens the album. A Japanese word that loosely means “It’s okay” or “Don’t worry.” It felt like the right way to start an album made in chaotic, overwhelming times. A soft shrug of reassurance or a way to say you’re in for a ride.
  • “I Saw the CRT Glow” is a nostalgic banger think chiptune meets DnB, inspired by the old boxy CRT TVs we all stared into growing up (and maybe a lil wink at “I Saw the TV Glow” if you know, you know).
  • “Chuffed to Bits” is one of the most playful songs on the album upbeat, side-scroller-style synths with wild punky drums. If you’ve ever wanted to jump on a trampoline made of pixels, this is your track.
  • And “Central Valley Blues”? That one’s a slow, sparkly synth elegy to where I’m from a dreamy goodbye to Modesto,CA and Patterson, CA, small-town summer vibes posted up, and dusty teenage memories and a nod to graffiti rock up in the canyon at night.

🧪 My Process (aka Mind Vibes)

I call myself a multi-media artist because I like being in the weeds producing beats, layering sounds, messing with effects, and just getting weird with it. I treat albums like I’m building sound universes. I get inspired by movies, TV, video games, memes, random phrases, friends’ old bands, or whatever’s lingering in my head that week.

I used to DJ more, and I still love performing live when the time’s right. But more than anything, I love working on fun projects, especially DIY-style. This album is 100% self-produced independently released on my label, Frank Panduh Records, with no big machine behind it.

🧑‍🎤 Who’s it For?

I’m hoping this reaches:

  • Early adopters of electronic sub-genres & digital misfits
  • Queer folk who love experimental pop and breakbeats
  • Fans of video game OSTs, broken virtual instruments, and internet culture
  • Music curators & bloggers looking for something different
  • And anyone tired of the same five songs on repeat
  • Headphones on a bus getting lost in the city

If you’re a blogger, writer, curator, TikTok poster, game dev, radio host, or just a cool human who wants to support indie weirdos please give the Frank Panduh Void album a spin and share if it speaks to you. I’d be stoked to hear from you or see what you make with it 😉.
